I used to make our baked brie with Bourbon. Just for Dave & I, you know, special appetiser.... romantic night..... by the fire or out on the deck.... ahhhh. Then Trinity wanted to know why she couldn't have any ~ so I modified the recipie so we have one for family night too.
Do you remember that old commercial where the mom is making rice krispy treats? Most of her time in the kitchen she is reading & talking on the phone & such - but right before she comes out with the Snap, Krackle, Pop Treats she throws flour on her face. Everyone thinks it was soooo complicated (only we know it isn't.) That's exactly what making this dish is like. Super Easy!! While it Looks & Tastes like it is straight from a bakery shelf. ;o) Amazing ~ Just the way we want them to feel when we cook for them.
